HOUBI is a London-based design brand creating sculptural home objects that reshape our relationship with what
already surrounds us.
We expect books, films, music and art to make us think or feel something. We rarely expect the same from the objects we live with. Yet they too have the power to change how we see the world.
A vase can change the way we think about beauty. A planter can deepen our connection to the things we care for. A candle holder can remind us that even the ordinary can be extraordinary. A bowl can turn everyday ingredients into works of art.
HOUBI was created from the belief that the objects we live with have something to say. Not by asking us to own more, but by inviting us to notice more.
Craftsmanship
Our work is rooted in ceramic craftsmanship. Each piece is handcrafted in Alcobaça, Portugal, a region with a long ceramic tradition shaped over generations.
We use high-pigment artisanal glazes that create depth, reflection and variation. The process introduces subtle irregularities, giving every object a distinct presence.
We design the form and the function.
The fire completes the object.
